alarm is not adjustible

I purchased this instrument in part because it indicated that it has an alarm for pulse rate. I thought that it would be an adjustable alarm setting. It turns out that the setting is factory set. This defeats the purpose I had for the alarm. Otherwise the pulse oximeter seems to work fine.
